DO I NEED TO BUY BOXING GLOVES OR EQUIPMENT?

Purchasing your own set of gloves or wraps is optional. Shared gloves are available, free of charge.

Classes are non-contact, so headgear and mouth guards are not required. 

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

You can purchase Drop-In Classes, Group BoxFit, Youth BoxFit and Solo BoxFit classes by clicking HERE.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all forms of payment including: cash, credit card, personal check, Venmo and CashApp. 

Credit card payments are accepted in-person and on the website.

If you prefer to register & pay with cash, personal check, Venmo or CashApp, please contact us directly. 

ARE CLASSES INTIMIDATING?

No! With Team Pollard, you’ll find a welcoming community of like-minded men and women. We take pride in offering members a friendly group setting and energetic atmosphere.  

DO I NEED TO HAVE BOXING TRAINING?

No experience is needed. You’ll learn the proper technique on how to achieve the fundamentals of boxing, including footwork, how to throw punches correctly, posture and stance.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BOXFIT?

Boxing is well known for its total body conditioning benefits. Boxing helps you burn fat and tone muscle in a short amount of time. With each session, you’ll activate each muscle group to get firm, trim your waist, tone your arms, and strengthen your core. 

 

In addition to building muscle, BoxFit classes are a great cardiovascular workout for weight loss, stronger heart, and lungs. BoxFit workouts increase your stamina and improve your endurance. Over time, members will have the benefit of reduced stress, and reduced risk of heart disease. 

WILL I GET HIT IN THE FACE OR BODY?

All classes are non-contact and non-combat. You’ll get lean and toned like a fighter, without the blows.

WILL I HAVE TO SPAR WITH ANOTHER PERSON?

No. Both group sessions and indvidual classes are non-contact and non-combat.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A GROUP CLASS?

In order to keep the quality of the classes high and maintain enough personalized attention, classes are held in intimate groups. Class sizes typically range between 5 and 15 people. 

HOW LONG DO CLASSES LAST?

Classes are scheduled for 60 minutes.

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow enough preparation time. 

HOW MANY CLASSES PER WEEK SHOULD I ATTEND?

In order to succeed and get the best possible results, we recommend you attend at least 4 classes per week. Consistency is key.
